Ken McNulty: Sales Executive

Ken McNulty leverages over 30 years of commercial roofing experience to help businesses protect and maximize their roofing investments. Ken began his career in roofing on a crew, carrying buckets of hot asphalt. He quickly moved into sales and went on to own Morrow Roofing from 1991 to 2019, where he built deep expertise and long-term client relationships. Following Morrow Roofing’s merger with Weather Shield Roofing Systems in 2019, Ken became a Sales Executive, serving clients across Lansing and Mid-Michigan with tailored roofing solutions designed to extend roof life and minimize costly disruptions.

After successfully serving clients across Michigan, Ken has recently expanded Weather Shield’s reach into the growing Nashville, Tennessee market—bringing Weather Shield’s proven approach to a new region. Outside of work, Ken enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids.

What’s the Difference Between a White Roof and a Black Roof?

If you’ve ever wondered whether the color of your roof really makes a difference, you’re not alone. Many commercial property owners and managers ask us this exact question. And yes—the color of your roof absolutely impacts your building’s performance, comfort, and costs.

Let’s break it down so you can make the best choice for your facility.

Can I Fix My Roof Myself?

If you’re seeing a roof leak in your building or you’ve noticed damage to your commercial roof, it’s natural to wonder: Can I fix my roof myself? It’s tempting. Maybe you think it’ll save money or speed things up.

The short answer? Yes, you can try to fix it yourself. But here’s the truth: most of the time, DIY roof repairs end up causing more problems than they solve.
