Mike Ayers: Account Manager

Mike Ayers is an Account Executive with Weather Shield Roofing Systems in Nashville, serving customers throughout Middle Tennessee. He brings a calm, customer-first approach to every conversation, helping building owners and facility leaders make sense of roofing issues without the jargon or pressure. Mike is the kind of person customers benefit from knowing because he focuses on clarity—helping them understand what is happening on their roof, what their options are, and what path makes the most sense for their building and budget. 

Before joining Weather Shield, Mike built his career in telecommunications and account management, working with both consumer and business accounts for Verizon. That background sharpened his ability to listen closely, solve problems, and guide customers through decisions that can feel technical or overwhelming. One of Mike’s strengths is helping people look at problems through a different lens. He enjoys those moments when a customer suddenly sees the full picture—whether that means understanding how long a roof may last, recognizing issues they had not noticed before, or realizing they may have more options than simply replacing the roof outright. 

Outside of work, Mike is just as grounded and active as he is in front of customers. A former collegiate and professional athlete, he still loves sports, though these days he is more likely to be watching than competing. He also enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time outdoors, staying involved in his community, and making memories with his seven-year-old daughter. That mix of energy, perspective, and approachability shows up in how he works with customers: steady, thoughtful, and ready to help them move forward with more confidence.
