What We Do
Weather Shield Roofing Systems is a trusted commercial roofing company with 40+ years of experience, delivering custom solutions that maximize roof life and reduce costs. When we first started in the industrial roofing business in 1980, we set out with one simple goal: To treat our customer’s roofs as if they were our own.
Most roofing contractors in the industry only care about selling a brand new roof. So, if you have a leak, their normal first response is to “get you a price for a new roof.”
But that doesn’t fit with our philosophy. Instead, we work with business owners, property managers, and facility managers who want to minimize their roofing costs, eliminate unpleasant surprises and interruptions, and gain control over their expenditures. Overall, we give you more roof life for less roof cost. Ultimately, that means taking care of your existing roof by using high-quality products and replacing it only when absolutely necessary. After all, that’s what we would do if it were our roof.

To broaden our reach, in 2019 we acquired another commercial roofing company that had the same values and passion for maximizing roof life as us: Morrow Roofing of Lansing, Michigan. Prior to that, we acquired Goff Roofing which served the Kalamazoo, Michigan area. Now, we offer our commercial roofing services in Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing (Serviced by Morrow Roofing), and the surrounding areas to help maximize the life of commercial roofs throughout Michigan. In 2024, we acquired Great Lakes Systems and have spent the last year merging our teams.
