A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Great Work 

As 2025 comes to a close, all of us at Weather Shield Roofing Systems are taking a moment to reflect and celebrate. It’s been a year filled with big milestones, powerful partnerships, and proud achievements. All of this was made possible by the incredible people who make up our team. 

Whether you’re a commercial property owner, manager, or investor, we know how much trust it takes to put your roof (and your business) in someone else’s hands. That’s why we want to share some highlights from this year with transparency and gratitude and give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of it. 

At Weather Shield Roofing Systems, we’ve been helping businesses protect their buildings and investments for over 40 years. In 2025, we grew in ways that help us serve even better. 

We Launched a New Website and Learning Center to Share Our Expertise

Earlier this spring, we officially launched our brand-new website, packed with resources to help you better understand commercial roofing, maintenance, roof lifespan, emergency repair strategies, and more. 

One of the most exciting parts? Our new Learning Center—a place where you can find honest, straightforward answers to your top roofing questions. Whether you want to know how often you need a commercial roof inspection or what to do about roof leaks after a storm, we’ve got you covered. Our blogs are full of helpful, free, easy-to-understand information from industry experts. 

We Expanded to Nashville and Pensacola to Serve More Businesses

This year, we officially expanded our commercial roofing services to two new states! First, Nashville, Tennessee and more recently, Pensacola, Florida. These new locations allow us to better support businesses across the Southeast with expert roofing services, emergency roof repairs, preventative maintenance, and long-term roof investment protection. 

As we bring our proven Max Life™ Roof Care program to new cities, we’re staying rooted in our commitment to safety, integrity, and long-term cost savings for our customers. 

300+ Roof Projects and 5,000+ Service Visits in 2025

Thanks to our incredible crews and support teams, we completed over 300 commercial roof installations, re-roofs, and roof replacements this year alone. 

The work didn’t stop there. Our teams also responded to more than 5,000 service calls, ranging from leak repairs, and preventive maintenance, to roof inspections. All in an effort to help our clients avoid costly damage and keep their roofing systems in peak condition year-round. 

All in all, every one of these numbers represents a property protected, a client served, and a commitment fulfilled. 

We Earned BBB Accreditation

This year, we also became a BBB-accredited commercial roofing contractor—a proud moment for our team. This recognition reflects our long-standing commitment to trustworthy service and high standards.

We Hosted Two Safety Days

Safety has always been at the core of how we operate. In 2025, we took gathered in our Nexus Center for our two annual Safety Days. These events brought our teams together for hands-on training, emergency response drills, and updated certifications.

• Our Spring Safety Day focused on roof inspection safety and preventing fall hazards. 

• Our Fall Safety Day centered around emergency roof repair protocols that are critical as storm season approaches.

We Settled Into the Nexus Center and Our New Operations Hub

After years of growth, 2025 was our first full year in our new Nexus Center and Operations Center. These spaces are more than just buildings. They’re a reflection of how we’ve scaled to better serve our teams and our clients. 

The new space improved logistics, project planning, and material coordination—allowing us to deliver faster, more efficient service in the Midwest and Southeast.

We Attended Multiple Roofing Conferences

We’re always looking to stay ahead of the curve. This year, several members of our team attended the 2025 International Roofing Expo to learn about cutting-edge roofing technology, materials, and safety strategies. 

From solar-ready commercial roofing systems to new innovations in metal roofing, we brought back insights that help us offer smarter solutions to our clients. This also reinforces our reputation as experts in long-lasting, low-maintenance commercial roofs. 

Later in 2025, Weather Shield team members also attended the Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) Facilities Conference, where they engaged in meaningful, productive conversations with key decision-makers responsible for school facility management. This included facility directors, business managers, and superintendents. 

MSBO’s annual event focuses on the critical importance of school building maintenance, emphasizing that educational facilities are a district’s most significant financial asset. Programming included certification classes and in-depth training on current issues and best practices in facilities management. All of this to underscore how strategic planning and proper upkeep directly support successful educational outcomes. 

Our CEO Jim Bush recently presented at Roofing Contractor’s 2025 Best of Success Conference. Industry leaders gathered to discuss roofing technology, AI, and best practices for commercial roofing teams. 

An Award-Winning Year

2025 was also a year of recognition for our people and our work. 

🏆 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For – We were thrilled to be named one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in both West Michigan and the Nation. This award speaks directly to the culture our team has worked hard to build—one rooted in care, collaboration, and continuous growth. 

🏆 Best Commercial Installation of 2025 – Our team also received the Best Commercial Installation of the Year award from Worthouse, a top metal roofing manufacturer. The project that earned it? A stunning and technically complex hotel roof installation in Florida that combined durability, aesthetics, and smart engineering.
